Seeing with New Eyes

This past week – I have been living in a state of consciousness that is opening up a new vista of my life,work and Axladitsa. I now realise that I have been in a deep place of transition – having left my life physically in the UK and my predominant pattern of making a living through hosting work in the form of being invited into organisations and communities, i.e. in dominant world language – process consultancy work, - I have been in this limbo place, having left what was known but not yet reaching the other shore. It has been uncomfortable – and add to this that we took on this massive financial responsibility – as well as coming to live in a very rural area, within a culture and way of life that although I come from the same ethnicity (and thankfully speak the language) is very foreign to me.

Creating a Guardian Circle as an initial step still stands to have been a moment of brilliance – an intuitive action – that I am proud we had the wit to do. Living this level of transition from within a circle – is the best way to do it. For circle is where we are literally born from – so it is natural to seek the circle as I went through this death and entered into a new life.

During this time of leaving the known shore and not yet reaching the new one – I have been challenged with the basic question of ‘who am I now’? And however, introspective this question might sound – it has been the right one to inquire it. Why – because this transition has not just been a physical move from one part of Europe to another – it has been a metamorphosis of identity – a shedding of skin and the slow growing of a new one. Interestingly – the way I have been inquiring into this has not been directly to who am I now – but what is Axaladitsa? The focus on the land again was intuitive, (the Inuit people speak of the land as themselves) – but if taken literally can depersonalise this most sacred journey that I have been on. Becoming aware that this is how some guardians who are in relationship with Axladitsa began to engage in this inquiry, woke me up to the fact – that I have to shift from asking what is Axladitsa, to being more direct with – who am I, what is my work really, what am I now becoming? Entering into this inquiry – collectively with the others who are here with me at this time –Sarah, Ulrik, Ria and I – has given me a completely new sense of identity – one that is naturally connected with Axladitsa and the work that we are grounding here.

To describe this now feels scary –but it will be good to try and harvest some of the insights that have emerged through conversation with Sarah and Ria – this is what has allowed me to see the new skin that is now growing from within myself, the relationship to this land and my deeper knowing of what my work now is. My journey of becoming conscious to who I am and what I am doing here on this land has gone through the following different levels:

· With Sarah and then in partnership with others, we are hosting an emerging field – we are hosting human evolution through connection to Source, a practice that can lead us to our next level of humanity

· That which connects all of us in the guardian’s circle is that we are all working on our human evolution – in different ways – but this is what brings us to this circle – instead of trying to ground something here at Axladitsa

· Here at Axladitsa – we are prototyping and living our future humanity now – and that we are doing this on different levels, physically, emotionally and spiritually

· That we are living a ‘Turquoise’ level (this is from the Spiral Dynamics model) of life through seeking the collective, wholeness and integration

· That our expression of this is a continuous collective inquiry as a state of living our human evolution

· This form of collective inquiry calls together different streams, practices and practitioners

· Therefore the offerings we have been hosting here,e.g. The Art of Protection, The Strategic Presencing with the Tarot, etc. are expressions of this in small scale fusions of practices and traditions

· That the process of continuous collective inquiry is the evolutionary pathway – it is an action that allows us to evolve

· That this evolutionary pathway is about creating collective entities/identities/beings – that of themselves are conscious and through them we humans live more wisely

· Specifically at Axladitsa – we are hosting this particular way of our human evolution – the creation of a collective wise being that comes from the fusion of different inquirers and their practices – through a guardians circle and others who come to the land for specific periods of time

This week has been a time of convergence for me – a time when I have deeply experienced the power of convergence – the coming together of people and clarity so that I can now see a new level. The exact way forward is still emerging – but what I do walk away with is the absolute clarity that cultivating the collective being of Axladitsa is the way to continue.
