Monday morning, our real check-in around the question: What called you to come here?
We spend the whole morning sharing our stories and heard many connections between people and networks. Some were holding this gathering for more than a year, others only decided a few days or weeks ago to come.
Here are the threads that we could hear throughout the morning:
- We are people in transition, moving house, changing work, moving country, starting own companies - so much so that I was wondering if there were people who didn't change house or work in the last two years, or are not planning to do so.
- We long for our mates, our community, happy to find our tribe or 'family', we are longing for co-creation and we are friends of friends of friends...
- We are looking for learning, for opening more, for innovation... for our calling...
- We practice embodiment of wholeness, in this place we are gathering, in this time together.
- We are wondering: where is our edge, what is what we don't know, can we listen deeper?
- Then what else is possible? What is the bigger work?
- We are learning to balance the WE and the ME; both on the level of the personal in relation with the community; and on the level of the different networks in relation with what is beyond.
- The Pioneers of Change wants to deepen their core purpose, holding young people in transition. And we are wondering what is the role of the elders - the wisper of eldership - what can be another way of mentorship?
