Guardianing my life in Langeland, Denmark (My first blog ever!)

I am finally blogging! The ocasion is the monthly guardian calls of Axladitsa- Avatakia. I love the idea of whoever can show up and are present. I feel sure this is the way to move consciousness. I have been in a physical space for 2 weeks, working hard 10 hours a day, having no energy for high profile discussions in the evenings, but drinking beer and watching DVDs with my two friends and co-workers.

Now I am back on my own land, preparing for 100 people to arrive the coming weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday. I am sharing this project with my friend Sole, another 48er, whom I have known since 4. grade. Individually we would both have lost faith in the idea of celabrating ourselves in such a grand fashion a long time ago. I find it deeply meaningful to share this with my close friend (relationship) and to do it outdoors in a tent on the land (guardianship) I have come to love deeply the 17 years I have lived here.

There will be salsa instruction, coffee and swimming, barbecue, music from the 60ies and a harp and psalter concert the day after.

This Monday we will be shopping spirits for our bar in Germany, and cannot attend the next call, but I will surely toast you all on Saturday!
