Guardianship

Since the second Guardians Gathering, May 2008 - we now hold new clarity on the specific learning that we convene and host at Axladitsa (and therefore the nature of the emerging guardianship called for) – Continuous Collective Inquiries – Inquiries that create fusion between different threads of practices which through the fusion create new collective entities that can support us humans to evolve and work with new levels of complexity. Our guardians circle is such a continuous collective inquiry. Other inquiries are called by guardians such as the Art of Protection and the Strategic Presensing with the Tarot.

Seeing with New Eyes

This past week – I have been living in a state of consciousness that is opening up a new vista of my life,work and Axladitsa. I now realise that I have been in a deep place of transition – having left my life physically in the UK and my predominant pattern of making a living through hosting work in the form of being invited into organisations and communities, i.e. in dominant world language – process consultancy work, - I have been in this limbo place, having left what was known but not yet reaching the other shore.  read more »

Art of Hosting Stewards gathering

Below you find the guiding questions we have come up with for the next Art of Hosting Stewards gathering, which will happen in June at the Shire. The Shire is a Learning Centre in Canada, Nova Scotia, initiated by Tim Merry and using the Art of Hosting as operation system.

 

Some people are asking who is a Steward? Because we are no organisation, but a self-organising web of practitioners, nobody will decide - but yourself! On the Art of Hosting website you can read about what makes someone a Steward. If you step up to this task, then you are one too!

Six weeks after AoH in Belgium

After six weeks of joy and silence, I'm back again. I am extremely grateful to all that have been working hard and sharing at the Art of Hosting Training in Belgium.  First let me share my experiences after Belgium with you.After Belgium I have used the Chaordic Path and the U Movement in coaching a risk manager at a Dutch multinational shipyard company and in a proposal for introducing enterprise risk management in a Dutch Cattle Feed multinational. The reaction to the proposal has been good and I will embark on a 10 day consultancy assignment starting May 28.  read more »
