Guardians Circles

Attached are the harvest notes from the Guardians Circles, July and August 2008.

What do you see?

Intergenerational Gathering

You are invited to join an Intergenerational gathering happening in Greece, in September 2008. Pioneers of Change (the network) is inviting pioneers of all ages to celebrate with them their 10th anniversary.

Here you can read how it all started…

These are the guiding questions:
What happens when pioneers across generations and networks meet in a space of generative dialogue, co-creation and celebration?

What emerges when those of us who sense the new life bring our stories together?

What would we see when we sit in our diversity and wholeness, connected to the Earth, sensing the emergent future?

Continuous Collective Inquiry

My question on Tuesday was: What is the difference between Axladitsa and let’s say Findhorn (as most people know this place).
This question came to me because I had a sense there is a difference, but I wasn’t able to name precisely what it was about. The day before I had mentioned Spiral Dynamics (a developmental model for values, cultures and societies), and Sarah wanted to know more about it, as she sensed there were some answers to find there.

It goes from the house down to the little streambed that is dry most of the time these days. Because last summer there were so many big fires in Greece, and it looks like it will be as dry this year, this piece of land needs to be cleared. In case of a fire nearby, it will stop at a certain distance of the house, to keep it safe.

Arriving at Axladitsa

Tagged with:
I arrived at Axladitsa Friday, late into the night, but sleeping in the yurt, really in nature, is so much better than whatever hotel room in Athens.

I used my time this morning to get acquainted with the land again, and did some little things here and there. Tomatoes, are growing, onions, mint and lavender… and amazing colorful wild flowers… attracting a load of different butterflies.

Scheduled is now a Guardians gathering. Amazingly enough only two ‘outside’ guests are here in person: Ulrik and myself, welcomed by Maria and Sarah, and Mia the cat. I guess being with the four of us is different than what Maria and Sarah originally envisioned, but the Open Space rule applies: Whoever shows up, are the right people.
