A celebration: Open space on education.

On my 50th birthday I invited friends and family on an outdoor-open-space. I gave the honour to my parents to set the theme on which people could post their burning questions. "Education." was the most important issue for them, even in their old ages. While the 'personal' questions were very diverse; we had 10 conversations at 5 different 'open-fire-places'; which resulted in an harvest of.. a very amicable festivity in the evening.

Preparing Intergenerational Gathering

Here in Jerusalem – I am in a place of reflecting on a week of holding and hosting many people, from many places – around becoming present to the ‘edges’ we tremble on, individually and collectively - the same inquiry we were in the previous week at the second Axladitsa Guardians Gathering. My core reflection is that it takes a field, to create a field, to create a field. Within this, it takes a quality of fieldness that is able to invite wholeness - that can be felt, witnessed, embodied. I am tired. My body is trembling; vibrating from the energy we have held, witnessed – and called out, for us human beings to become whole. I have given everything this week. To hold and host fields that are still becoming aware of themselves is ‘big work’.

Thoughts for the Day

;; sharing 2 thoughts for the day...Smile

\begin{Thought A}

I currently work as a consultant in a virtual organization which has no physical offices. The organization aims to be a network-centric without hierarchy. However, I see the subtle existence of situated social power that selectively introduces implicit (or unexpected) hierarchy among relationships that ultimately influences perception, reward and recognition for individual associates.
