Using Circle
From Marianne De Rijk:
Just to let you know that for the first time I hosted a circle and it went very well ( with some help of Ria, thanks again). I learned a lot about what it is to sit in a circle as a host and what the power is of the circle. We had a real conversation with 7 people in the age of 55-60 who are not used to talk in person about what really is on their mind and in their hearts. At some point I thaught this was going to fail but, as Ria said, trust the circle and so I did. In the end they all learned that what they put in the middle of the circle was not what should be in the midddle: their personal freedom and personal values and how to stand up for them/that, instead of trying to put together their group at any cost. For the first time, in 15 years of friendship, they talked about that in a personal and meaningful way and they where very glad they did.
So on to the next call!
I am now preparing for a meeting in a small team at the local school where they want to have a conversation on how they communicate with each other as colleages. They want to explore what needs to emerge here and what is in the middele of their circle and what their question is. I am asked to bring some of the AoH to them and I wonder what to do and how to act on that.
The question we discuss a lot:
What if a theacher becomes a pilot of passion? How can that effect his education and what is the seed he plants by doing this? Feel free to comment on that.
I feel like a pilot of passion right now but I am in the dojo for AoH-starters and am learning every day.
best wishes
Marian
