Personal approach to evolutionary perspectives
Submitted by Jennifer Atlee on January 22, 2006 - 02:04.
I asked Michael Dowd how many people at this salon he thought had had an epiphany response to the Universe story & he suggested about 25% -- which leaves 75% of us with some other relationship to it. I’m curious to explore all the different ways in which we make use of an evolutionary perspective in our thinking, where we are uncomfortable, where we are passionate, where we go with it.
Core Questions:
- How do you relate to the universe story or great story?
- What is the role of an evolutionary perspective in your thinking/life/work?
- How do these different ways of relating to the evolutionary perspective and/or universe story together enhance our ability to develop increasingly conscious social systems and/or bring us more in right-relationship with the rest of creation?
