ES3 - Notes for further dialogue and exploration

hi everyone,

i have already posted the notes (of the first planning conf.call) in the wiki-pages and as a comment to ria's initial post, but here seems to be an appropriate space for us to dive into the notes themselves and to explore things that are still emerging.

i am curious whether what peggy and margo both affirmed as the "synthesis statement" is what tom has.  tom can you share that here?  i'm also interested in the conversation about how the invitation captures the other themes and questions that were percolating during our call but that weren't fully captured in the synthesis.  i included those as my understanding is that there is a broad enough framing for the invitation, and then deeper questions and inquiries that can be included.

so current framing synthesis:

Listening into the Future:  What is calling?  Deep explorations about evolution, visions, where we are and where we might go as a planet.

other voices that emerged: 

            Scaling up in terms of social evolution

            Growing the capacity of the field

            Evolutionary processes as key component

            Collective visioning

            What are the collective visions/images of the future – what are calling us?

            Inviting the indigenous

            Different frames - Great turning, listening at the edges, evolutionary

 

i am particularly interested in the evolutionary processes and the vision/sensing into the future.  feeling strongly that these processes will serve us in this exporation.

Love the idea of sensing/listening into visions & images of the future. 

Also love the constant reminders at ESII that we are to reconnect with the sanctity of the land and deeply listen to the deep wisdom that nature has for us. Makes perfect sense that we are returning to the lush richness and sacred groves of Whidbey Island.

Not sure why, but feel the need to share that i am being called to humbly serve, in some mystic capacity, a "planetary wisdom council". The year 2020 keeps being whispered to my being between the small round door that separates the two worlds. Not sure what this means, but also received a clear message that i will be fully mystically powered up at the age of 52 (year 2019) if i continue to embrace my heart's longing. That being said,  i am completely open to thought "imaginify" could embrace this power earlier. 

Only other insight being provided at this time, is that we are headed towards a major shift in "love consciousness" sometime between 2010 and 2012, which will be much more sustainably, pragmatically, action-oriented than the most recent "love consciousness" surge experienced between 1967-1973. There is a beautiful convergence and integration between the boomers cohort entering the "what is my legacy?" lifestage, with many gracefully accepting the responsibility of becoming a wise elder; while the cohorts that follow (gen x, gen y, indigos, crystals) each bring their own sacred energy centered on "my heart wants more", "a longing to be part of a community bigger than myself", and "a calling to be emissaries of love and light". 

While at the ESII, i kept getting the powerful image of "Fire & Rain". The collective calling was to honor our humble part in co-creating a raging forest fire of consciousness. Felt and integrated individual/collective calling to step even deeper into the heart of the fire.

A verse from one of Drew's poems enchanted me to go deeper into the fire to dance ecstatically with w Rumi & Hafiz. "An angel told me that the only way to step into the fire and not get burnt, is to become the fire".

The patience being whispered on to my heart was that this is a marathon and not a sprint. The image that soothed my being was that you can't create a raging forest fire if the limbs, roots, and connecting tissue of the individual trees aren't connected.

The constant gentle rain of the north american northwest region was a loving reminder of the loving universe nurturing the fragile chains of our recently connected sacred community to grow into something rich, powerful, and irresistably full of life force energy. 

Here's to the new tree of life that will eventually emerge from the ashes of the raging forest fire of consciousness that clears out the old belief systems of fear & separation and clears way for a collective shift towards a planetary consciousness of peace, love, wisdom, and a oneness that celebrates our magnificent diversity.

Look forward to dancing with you in the heart of the collective fire at ESIII!!!

The focus of visioning/sensing the future is so juicy and dear to my heart that I am trying to change my travel plans so I can come because I can't resist it. I think you're on it!

Scaling up, in terms of social evolution

The report from the Planning Conference Call of ES-3 mentioned the need for "scaling up in terms of social evolution." I responded to it with three entries in my blog. Would love to hear your comments.
