I just sent this (slightly melodramatic!) email out to those that are currently planning Evolutionary Salon 3. For whatever reasons, this site is not being used by (and thus not serving) the planning team of ES3. We need an online space to 'live' at... I have a huge amount of hope and faith that we will find one. We'll keep you updated!!

And I have a HUGE favor to ask... would you please offer me 2-5 minutes of your day (preferably right now). I ask that you read the question below and then offer the first thing that comes to your mind. You don't have to think about it... just share with me the first thing that arises. If you wish to spend more time with the question that is okay too, but I don't need big answers, just gut responses.

What keeps you from participating at Evolutionary Nexus?

This information would be so helpful for me and my efforts to support the whole and create an online space that will serve our Evolutionary Salon planning needs. There is such amazing conversation going on in these emails. I am glad that Tree included more of us in the conversation. We are not utilizing our highest capacity and serving the whole by communicating in this closed medium when the dialogue is potentially generative and empowering for a wider audience. I want to help us find a supportive online home... I need your help.

Thank you... and with love,
Ashley

My answer (ashley): I get frustrated really easily here. I don't enjoy being here. I am very interested in the content but my difficulties in navigating and lack of aesthetic enjoyment in spending online time here cause me to want to spend my precious online time in more nourishing places. A great example is that I could not find a way to reply to this post. I had to look around a lot and then finally just clicked edit....

Thank you George for turning

Thank you George for turning the comments on and Ria I appreciate hearing of your comfort and your embrace of the learning experience.

Many ES3 planners responded to my email and I hope to share some of the learning with you as it finds its way into a sharing shape!

I apologize for the non-supportive way that I worded my question. I think I just wanted to evoke the gut response in 2 minutes of what was holding people back. I feel like that is exactly the kind of answers that I got!

Thanks for opening up, Ashley!

I'm not part of the planning team of the May salon, but I will give my answer anyway.

I don't feel frustrated, probably because I was here from the beginning and I see and saw it as a learning experience for myself. Learning to use new tools, because I realise I/we need to achieve fluency in using these tools.

I don't feel frustrated although I know our ideal online environment will differ a great part. Maybe it is because I never used a better, more beautiful, more inviting space than this... I'm open to whatever we will find that suits us best!

Ashley, when you opened this topic, the "user comment" option was disabled. I fixed it.
