Harvesting points for design
Hello all, I travelled this afternoon through all the notes of all our calls since Febr. and made my own harvesting of it. I guess it can be helpful for tomorrow.
CONTEXT
The context of the AoH in Belgium - broader scope than a workshop; to connect people to contribute to more dialogues,
The larger context of hosting: as a start for a broader movement in Belgium.
POINTS FOR DESIGN
* How to design the training for momentum?
* there is a shift in expectations of the participants. What can we make happen?
* Collective clarity is maybe a sweet weapon against collective confusion.
* let's go beyond expectation!
Starting “connected to Nature”
explore how we are hosted by nature in reaching our own depth of humanity?
Starting “connected to own Source”
the depth of reaching into the inner host to meet the challenges and complexities of the real world issues we face
Be present – Body - Joy
Red thread
something about the connection between inner and outer change
How can we intelligently and compassionately move forward given these challenges?
How do we respond - and/or sit with - our reality (inside and out) authentically? How do we make choices as individuals and collectives?
Harvesting
o on the spot - after the event
o collective memory – collective meaning
o for the individual: building in silent moments
o also related to the purpose!
o action and reflection in the same moment
o Harvesting and integrating it more
o let's go to a next level of harvesting
o To plan half a day really dedicated to Harvesting.
o What is at the core of the Art of Harvesting I wonder...
How do we sustain the self-organisation? The 4th Day
o or: the Art of Hosting meaningful ‘communities’ or networks
o the tread of community building – network – projects
o the online space…
o connecting people who do this work individually. There is incredible potential in connecting.
o to expand to the potential that is locally routed
o Link between training and co-creating and continuing on to make it more concrete from the connections and the learning of the first 3 days.
o So what the fuck are we going to do now?!!
What will surprise US?
Can we work with the journal online?
Who is going; who stays for 4th day?
From the 16 people who registered now:
- only 4 stay only for the basic training
- one can only attend the first 1,5 day
- one comes the first and fourth day
- there are two person coming only for the 4th day.
Lieven expect some 3-4 people more to come
This means that we have an 'extra' evening to spend with 11 participants on the evening of the third day. We have to think about that.
Some elements for the design (from our last call)
Red thread by Tatiana:
something about the connection between inner and outer change, the depth of reaching into the inner host to meet the challenges and complexities of the real world issues we face in our own context and as a collective - i.e. How can we intelligently and compassionately move forward given these challenges?
How do we respond - and/or sit with - our reality (inside and out) authentically? How do we make choices as individuals and collectives?
Also, wondering given our lovely space...
is there also an opportunity at Lieven's is to explore how we are hosted by nature in reaching our own depth of humanity?
Another idea by Toke:
To plan half a day really dedicated to Harvesting.
Around harvesting:
I see the graphic recording as a powerful tool to let the system 'see itself', but my hunch is that there is much more to unearth in Harvesting. What is the next step in Harvesting? What is at the core of the Art of Harvesting I wonder...
