Hosting ourselves well
Brenda,
This is the question I love. As hosts, as we shift past our own barriers we have greater capability to bring hosting into more and more environments – including hierarchical ones. It is our own hesitation that stops us most often. When we host ourselves well and when we see the AoH as an operating system that has the potential to shift culture – in organizations, in communities, in families – this is when we can shine the light on other barriers. We also need to move past the barrier of fear – fear of being vulnerable and fear of going into depths most of us have yet to really experience. The more I confront my own fear, the more ready I am to be a peaceful warrior – with AoH as my arsenal…
