The art of acting in consciousness

What if the act of hosting your self and others,

is an art of acting in the consciousness of life itself

from where lasting action will emerge and be build ?

how does this question tickle you ?

After i read your post, i realised that the post that i had just made could almosrt be seen as a direct response, albeit from a more political/strategic perspective.

See my post called "Changing the world one dinner party at a time"

Hmm.... How about these instead?

I generally don't like the "What if X... is Y?" questions, because they strike me as more of statements, than questions, or perhaps as tricks being applied to make me think as if something were true, and then start to depend on that, and then to make the "as if" my own basis, without proper evaluation.

That, and I don't think the answers that would be made in response, really fit.  That is, I would expect the response, "Oh! Good point!"  ...to any of these, rather than:  "If X were Y, then Z would follow."

"Is X Y?" strikes me more in the spirit of an actual question, rather than a statement.  But it still has a clear leading.

"What is the art of hosting?"  then is a truely open ended question.  But likely too open ended.  You might receive too many broad answers, when instead, you are looking for something particular.

The question "What practices lead to lasting, emerging action, that respect life?" may be a better question, too- you might catch something, beyond: "The Art of Hosting," which, presumably, you already know about.

You might ask:  "What are some essential abstract generalities behind practices that lead to lasting, emerging action?"

Perhaps even better:  "What are some fully fleshed out, diagrammed models, of practices that people, gathering in numbers around 50-250 people, can reliably apply, in order to get emergent lasting actions that respect life?" Now that, I think, would be great.  You could also adapt it to 12 people, to 1,000 people, and so on.

Suppose we are interested in specifically the Art of Hosting;  Perhaps we want to ask:  "What is it about the Art of Hosting, that leads people to the art of acting in the consciousness of life itself, and that leads to the emergence of lasting action?"  So I would find the answers to these questions more interesting.  Simple "what if's" do not really interest me, or I'm doing scenario planning.
