How this started...

On August 17, 2007, Carsten Ohm sent out an email:
"Today is the day when Marianne Knuth, the Pioneer of Pioneers of Change is stepping into her new life celebrating her wedding with Paul in Kufunda.

Why don't we all give her the gift of co-creating and showing up for a 10 year Pioneers of Change birthday party/gathering next year or beginning of 2009!

Castle Borl is calling upon us too...."

So a three fold purpose emerging here:
  • Celebrate 10 years
  • Bring intergenerational pioneers together
  • Mark the next generation of pioneers and the shift of the previous generation."

"There is another network I am a part of, which has its feet in the tech world, and much of its head and heart in social activism. I suggested to them that next year they might hold their yearly retreat "along side" this proposed gathering, allowing a cross pollenization of the two networks. I suspect they could each benefit and learn from each other and maximize the scarce resource of F2F time. Hm, maybe the word is magnify...

"What if we formed a team to “co-initiate” (in the of the sense of U model) a presencing process for prototyping of a new kind of inter-generational learning expedition?
I imagine the learning expedition as a deep, collaborative inquiry that combine: a fun-filled, f-t-f gathering in a learning center; an online work/playshop; a shared knowledge ecosystem; and the creativity of the young-in-the-heart of all generations."  George Por

New pioneers (max. 30 years old)
Pioneers passing on to the next generation of Pioneers/children (max. 45 years old)

"my Yes comes from wishing to be in the container of learning of how our co-evolution as humans is taking place – how this can be amplified with in an inter-generational incubator.  And also – because I am living and hosting a learning center that is a container of living wholeness – and I want to be part of hearing if such gatherings want to happen on this land." - Maria S.
