Third call Nov 2007

On 20 November 2007 – some of us gathered to continue inquiring into a learning journey about intergenerational pioneering – I have attached the harvest from this call.

Two pathways of Inquiry have emerged and we invite you to join in:

Series of Calls to Inquire More Deeply into Intergenerational Pioneering - Sam , George and Maria have stepped forward to co-initate these and to create minimal/optimal structure around them so that deep sensing and conversation can bring us to a new level of consciousness  - they will soon send out an email with the pattern of these calls so that we can join in

Call and host a world wide gathering on Intergenerational Pioneering in 2008 – Hendrik, Sarah, Filiz, Maria, Carsten and Lesley stepped forward to co-initiate this.  If you wish to be part of this hosting field please contact Hendrik, htiesinga@gmail.com by 30 November so that a hosting team call can be organised to begin giving more shape to this.

Underpinning these two pathways and offering an online platform for our conversations is Enexus.

Please feel free to pass this information onto others who are interested in this emerging intergenerational inquiry.

hello friends in the radiant network,

i am following this thread from cascadia here in the northwest corner of turtle island and i am delighted by this inquiry and unfolding possibilities for hosting a gathering like this.  in fact it makes me think of the amazing event that will happen mid-april 2008 in seattle when the dalai lama and desmond tutu and 1000s of young people will be all joining together....for seeds of compassion.  www.seedsofcompassion.net.

The times require an unprecedented partnership between the generations, for the crisis today within humanity and the biosphere of all life on earth is of such magnitude that only the united heart-inspired efforts of all generations - including those still arriving - can set causes in motion to that will offset the current dangerous course we are on.

Intergenerational theme: SO alive!

"Yes, the intergenerational theme is SO alive--another major gathering here in Ojai, California on Dec. 7-9 that I'll share more about when we get back.  And World Cafe 2.0 Multi-gen is alive and exciting for us all as well, so the seeds planted at Shambhala are sprouting
all over--such a joy to have been a part of that initial seeding."

 

inter-gen, close to home

I will love to support this, yes – please count me in on the team. I seem to be coming across the intergenerational theme in many places.

and it is very close to home for me. I am initiating some inter-gen dialogues for Christmas time in my family after 6 months of conflict and having to be very very very honest with myself about my own role in it and also being guided by many sources of wisdom like eckart tolle –who reminds me of the concept of the collective ego… and stuff between people never being personal… and how that relates to deep democracy’s role theory.

Frauke’s sharing recently really touched me “resolving the past, creating the future”

and I will be inviting my family to discuss how we can adapt some of the processes so that it will not feel alien for them (and seen as their sister’s usual crazy ideas) to try them out. Just a tiny step but it means so much to me. And the thought of doing it with my own family makes my hands sweat and my heart beat and so I know I have to do it.

I met Tim (Mac) Macartney who started up www.embercombe.co.uk in the uk and feel that he could be here.. I see him as an elder and will like to invite him in … more soon on that…
