Labyrinth Walk: A walk dedicated to the field of the land, the evolutionary salon and the larger collective field and work.
Tuesday morning
An ancient pattern
A structure
A path
Entering with intention
Walking with attention
Walking
In
Out
Walking
Being drawn into a rhythm
Now quicker
Now slower
Now moved to stillness
Seeing here there
Being with self and other
Releasing what distracts
Releasing meaning making
Releasing past
Coming present
Gratitude
Offering
Opening
Receiving
Gratitude
Allowing the voice of silence
To speak into our middle/center.
Saying thank you and walking on.
We walked for this place, for this group, for this work, for ourselves, for our world, for all that IS.
We walked into communion. May communion now walk with us and among us.

A few notes on labyrinths.
Labyrinths are an ancient form, no one really knows how ancient. At one point the Christian churches adopted labyrinths. They became a way of making pilgrimages without taking long trips. Walking a labyrinth does indeed have many of the characteristics and qualities of a pilgrimage…at some point one simply is walking, releasing concerns, walking, walking, in silence, with reverence and intention to a sacred place where blessing is. Many of the older churches have labyrinths on the floor. Over time in many places they “fell from grace” because they began to be associated with “pagan rituals”. In these churches they have been covered over. Through all this labyrinths are with us. They are a structure and a process. They hold the power of a physical pattern that holds an inductive field. They are a place for entering with a question/intention; releasing concerns, worries, stories; offering gratitude; and receiving.
Labyrinths are a path we can walk and know that we will not be lost, we can let go of concerns, and fear and simply put one foot in front of the other and we will reach the sacred centers of ourselves. There are many metaphors that are evoked by walking the labyrinth. There are as many ways to walk labyrinths as there are people. That I know of the ways share some things in common…walking in silence…entering all the way to center…exiting all the way out into the world…carrying within you whatever you have received…however you have been changed.
For more go to www.google.com and look for labyrinths. It will give you much more complete information that I can remember to log here.
