The Chaordic Stepping Stones

The text above says, "The chaordic design process has six dimensions, beginning with purpose and ending with practice," which corresponds to the original process devised by Dee Hock (see below) but the diagram shows 8 dimensions. It would be good to know how Need and Beliefs got into the picture, added by whom, when and why? Do they have somewhere a description similar to the 6 others?
