Some history

My whole life has been centered on the journey of consciousness: first, my individual, and now, collective. I've been and am a teacher of meditation; a holistic Financial Planner (Certified Financial Planner(R)) and former president of the national Financial Planning Association. Our association's work with Juanita on World Cafe is one of the stories featured in her book. Through the Association I became deeply involved in the art of hosting processes and saw and experienced the personal and professional/organizational transformation that occurred. I have studied Cirlce process with CHristina and Ann through PeerSpirit; just completed Art of Hosting/the Future of Money at Gold Lake, CO, as one of the callers. I study the Integral philosophy and am deeply drawn to Otto Scharmer's work of THeory U. It seems to bring all the pieces of my journey together. In my work now I coach and consult financial planners and firms on being their best and thriving in their lives and practice; I continue to offer financial life planning and investment management through our firm, RTD Financial ADVISORS in Atlanta GA (in practice with my husband, Michael) and I am deeply committed to gathering people togehter for the art of hosting experience, to talk about what matters most; touching on their relationship with money because there is so much to be explored there, it is such fertile ground. I'm an explorer and an igniter. I am, finally, longing to help preserve the sacred places that are our gathering sites, like Gold Lake (www.goldlake.com) and am exploring what that might look like.

Preserving the sacred places that are our gathering places: how? What form? What is possible so that these places are protected and truly stewarded? Art of Hosting for the SouthEast. More conversations about the future of money: at the personal, community and global levels. Becoming a host to be called upon worldwide to ignite the fires of conversation, wonder and consciousness. My son's wedding and their move to the mountains of North Carolina. Slow food. Knitting. My new friends: Teresa, Kathy , Bob and Tenneson. To my old friends, Christina, Ann and Martin. I am becoming a Crone in the most beautiful and energetic way. Clarity, purpose. Burning Questions/Inquiries

What if we could hold the sacred places in North America in a trust, create a foundation for their support so that these places are protected and continue to be the exquisite containers for our conversations? What if I follow the spark of "yes"? What is the deepest spark of "yes" that is calling me? What if we held a national day of Art of Hosting? Worldwide, we gathered people in Circles, for Cafe, for Open Space: to sit with the same questions, about the future, about money, about meaning?
