Bio
- Some history
- Marian, 51 years old, married with two children: Marte 12 and Ries 10. Workes for 20 years as a music teacher and music-consultant, working with teams of school teachers and individuals who want or had to develop their their skills as a teacher, musicteacher, singer, musician etc. After that had an education in becoming a lifecoach with a special interest in life-stories as a tool for personal development. Now having my single practice as a lifecoach: mensenvragen/investeren in een zinvol antwoord ( people's questions/investment in a meaningful answer. Always trying to find the right question to reach a next step in development. My attention goes to what's already there and therefore I observe with holding back my judgement for a longer period of time so that things can emergence and speak for themselves. If they can speak, we can connect with them and learn and develop ourselves. I am inspired by the ideas of Rudolf Steiner and always trying to look upon people as a person who becomes visible in his thinking, his feeling and his acting. Now struggling to find my way into this world wide web of inspiring people, fellow- art- of- hosters, and dreaming of bringing the art of hosting in education.

- Your excitement
- what if we can bring some of the art of hosting experience into education as in schools, families, so that the theachers will become pilots of passion instead of the format-theachers they are forced to be through all the changes they had to deal with in the last copple of years and were put down on them from the top? What if teachers can be proud of their profession and we would be proud of the teachers who educate our children?
- Burning Questions/Inquiries
- Most of the teachers in our primaryschools are married women whith a parttime job, taking care of both work and family. Their concern is it to keep all these balls in the air in a work-environment that is rappidly changing, is getting very crowded with al kind of rules and where more and more people are coming into their classroom to help the pupils. Instead of putting another burden on them how can we appeal to their teacher-heart to surch for their What if the teachers start to share their professional stories of how they want to teach and what is the seed they want to plant if they are teaching their pupils? How can they harvest from that into their education so school will become a real community where teachers work together from their heart and will inspire eachother and can be proud of their profession again?
